The C NMR spectra of 3,4,5,6-tetrahydro-5-phenyl-3,5-dithioxo-l,3,5-triazin-2-one (25) contained peaks at 143.6 ppm and 177.8 ppm which were assigned to the C=0 and C=S carbons respectively. Tosato carried out a systematic analysis of substituent effects on C chemical shifts of the ring carbons in trimethylcyanurates and thiocyanurates. The 69 chemical shifts of the ring carbons, distributed over a 43 ppm range, were assigned after classification into four main groups...
