We choose the reaction A B, r = k(T)CA, with k = 0.05 min at 300 Yi, E = 30 kcal/mole, AHr = -40 kcal/mole, pCp= 1000 cal/liter K, and Cao = 2 moles/liter. We choose T = 1 min, the conditions where calculations in the previous chapter showed that multiple steady states exist in the steady-state CSTR.
