Transformation diagram pitch

Figure 7 presents an experimentally constructed transformation diagram for Ashland A240 pitch. Ashland A240 (low S) pitch was pyrolysed in a stirred vessel at a heating rate of 0.1 K min-. The values of T0 and Tg of residues extracted from the pyrolysis vessel at different times were determined as outlined elsewhere(32,33,35).
