Toxicity carbonyl chloride fluoride

DICHLOROTETRAFLUOROETHANE or 1,2-DICHLOROTETRAFLUORO-ETHANE (76-14-2) Undergoes thermal decomposition when exposed to red-hot surfaces or lire, forming toxic substances that may include chlorine or chloride, phosgene, carbonyl fluoride. Reacts with chemically active metals, acids, acid fumes, barium, lithium, sodium. Attacks some plastics, rubber, and coatings. [Pg.406]
