Totally engineered blood vessel TEBV

Auger s team has preferred to use this self-assembly approach for the culture of human cells with the objective of producing a totally engineered blood vessel (TEBV) that maintains a vasoactive response via the presence of functional endothelin receptors and a endothelin-converting enzyme. The development of a confluent endothelium guarantees the capacity of the conduit to maintain patency even at low thrombotic threshold velocities.
