Threshold values, data handling

To reduce the amount of data that are stored in the experimental data tile, some data handling systems offer the possibility of using thresholds during the DSC experiment. In this situation, the previous data point is compared to the current sampled data point. If the temperature or heat flow difference is not significant (when compared to the threshold value) the data are not stored. In essence the system attempts to store only significant data, i.e., data that are different from the previous value. [Pg.43]

Sara tide III, section 313, Clean Air Act 1990, threshold limit values, and LD qS ate given in Table 3 for the substances for which data are available. Additional information is continuously being developed to provide guidelines for the safe handling of dye carriers and carrier-active chemicals. [Pg.268]

A gas data and safety sheet for carbonyl difluoride has been produced by the British Compressed Gases Association [277] and the compound is described in the Matheson publication, "Guide to safe handling of compressed gases [1347], and the ACGIH Documentation of the Threshold Limit Values for Substances in Workroom Air [38,39]. [Pg.550]
