Thiocarbonato complexes

A complete IR and normal coordinate analysis (including metal isotope data) have been carried out on the thiocarbonato complexes A2M(CS3)2M(CS3)2 (M = Ni or Zn A = PPh4, NMe, or AsPhJ).872... [Pg.977]

Treatment of aqueous solutions of copper(II) salts with ammonium polysulfide gives rise to NH4tCuS4] 163), from which other [ 084] salts can he obtained (35, 163, 283). Two thiocarbonato complexes, M[CuCS3] (M = K, NH4), are also known (162). [Pg.121]

The infrared spectra of thiocarbonato complexes of the type [MtCSihJ [M = Ni(ll), Pd(ll), and Pt( )] have been studied by Burke and Fackler and Cormier et al. The latter workers carried out normal coordinate analyses on the [ Ni(CS3)2] ion and its Ni analog. The r(NiS) were assigned ai 385 and 366 cm , with a corresponding force constant of 1.41 mdyn/A (UBF). Bis(dHhioacetato)palladium, Pd(CH3CS2)2, exists in three different crystalline forms. Piovesana et al. characterized each of these forms by IR spectroscopy. [Pg.345]
