Thermal force slip regime

Much of the disagreement in experimental and theoretical analysis of the thermal force has been in the slip regime, 0 < Kn. 0.2. This discussion is directed toward this regime. Sufficient experimental data are not available to permit an assessment of the regimes for Knj > 0. The various regimes covered by variation of two of the four parameters for the thermal-force problem are displayed in Fig.2.6. The regime displayed as "aerosol data" in this figure will be discussed here. [Pg.49]
