The Two Phases of Self-Replication

The SSR replication process has two main phases—the cloning phase (illustrated in figure 9.2) and the division phase (illustrated in figure 9.3). [Pg.171]

The behavior of the SSR, including basic support functions and the two replication phases, can be outlined as follows  [Pg.171]

The original SSR contents are now at, for example, the north pole of the SSR enclosure. [Pg.172]
