The performance process without backlog

As soon as we have harmonized the performance, there is no backlog. The inventory previously tied up in backlog has subsided and turned into revenue. On average, this reduces your capital tie-up in active inventory by one third. 

Purchasing can now finally make purchases just in time (JIT) to meet demand and can focus on other activities such as the ever so important procurement marketing, to shorten delivery times.
