The intercepts of monohemispheric visual reaction tasks

The number of cycles in monohemispheric visual reaction tasks computed by [Pg.48]

There are some interesting changes in the vCT of intra-individual repeated tasks. In the subject PI55 for example, the vCT is reduced from 29.5 (P15) to 22.3 (P15a) and 18.8 (P15b). Because the directly observed cycle time does not show this reduction (see table below), the cause must be a reduction of cycle number. [Pg.48]

Sub vCT Mean dvCTl Mean dvCTr (v221-vlll)/ dvCTl (v22r-vllr)/ dvCTr (v331-vlll)/ dvCTl (v33r-vllr)/ dvCTr [Pg.48]

Because the supposed cycle numbers are (v22y-vlly)/dvCTy = 4 and (v33y-vlly)/ dvCTy = 6, one sees a dvCTy dependent deviation from the expected cycle num- [Pg.48]

Another observation is that the empirical cycle numbers differ slightly from the expected cycle numbers. That means that vlly does not need 0 cycles, but does need some cycles. [Pg.49]
