Tetrapyridino-Ferrous Chloride Yellow Salt

An intense yellow color appears as soon as the first drops of the solution are added. Soon a yellow crystalline solid separates. When the action is complete, the mixture is allowed to stand for at least 12 hours under an atmosphere [Pg.184]

The product is a yellow crystalline substance which is stable if kept in sealed containers. On continued exposure to air, the characteristic yellow color becomes a pale yellow or even white. [Pg.185]
