Tetraorganotin Compounds Containing Halogen

The unsymmetric halogen containing tetraorganotin derivatives listed in Table 109 are prepared by methods from the ensuing scheme. 

By-prod, in rxn. of (Me2Sn)x with CF3I under UV irradiation (8T1)  

with (MegCOs + Nal in (MeOCH ) MegSnl + MesCCFgdMeg ( 9 ), numerous other gemminal difluorocyclopropane derivatives, relative reactivity of other dihalocarbene sources (1882).
