Tetraamminedibromoruthenium III Bromide

The product is an amorphous or microcrystalline orange solid, which is stable in air. It is stable in water at low pH, but less soluble than the dichloro species. Reactivity is generally similar to the corresponding dichloro complex. The UV-visible spectrum A, (e) 345 nm (inflection) 380 nm (1.1 x 103 M 1 cm ) 435nm (1.3 x 103M 1 cm ).n [Pg.67]
