Test for Occurrence of a Discontinuity

After every integration step the sign of the switching functions is checked. If a sign change occurs, the localization of the switching point is started. 

this foregoing is based on the assumption that a solution of the differential equation with the old right hand side exists until t = tn+i- Especially the old right hand side function is not allowed to have a singularity at the switching point.
