Techniques for handling and measuring reagents

When handling air sensitive reagents always think ahead, and design the whole sequence of events you intend to follow so that air never comes into contact with the reagent. 

Methods for preparation and titration of alkyllithium reagents is given in Section 6.5 of this chapter and a method for titration of hydride reagents is given in Chapter 7, Section 7.4.
