Legendary Siddhar sage who is held to have introduced alchemy and the arts into India, in addition to inventing the Tamil language and its grammar. [Pg.109]

I must confess that I have been unable to find any reference to what "the heavy Moolikai herb" actually is, but it is common for the earlier Siddhar medical terms and their names for herbs to be forgotten. Nonetheless, Siddhar medicine is becoming more and more in vogue in present day Tamil Nadu as scores of clinics open and practitioners gain wider recognition. [Pg.51]
