Takata-Ara reaction

Gros (115, 116) made extensive studies of the Takata-Ara reaction in its relation to the Howe fractions. He concluded that positive tests depended on the presence of increases in the euglobulin and pseudoglobulin I fractions, particularly the former, that the pseudoglobulin II fraction did not contribute to the reaction, and that the albumin fraction exerted a definite inhibitory effect.
