It should be mentioned that living polymerization methods are preferred, as they allow the generation of polymeric architectures (block, star, graft, etc.) and control over block lengths in the final polymers. Therefore, primarily the living polymerization methods in conjunction with the generation of H-bonded supramolecular polymers will be discussed.
