Synthesis of Nano-Titania - Photocatalyst

Titanyl hydrazine carboxylate dihydrate (Ti0(N2H3C00)2-2H20) is synthesized by the reaction of titanyl chloride with hydrazine carboxylate 

The higher photocatalytic activity of combustion-synthesized titania is due to  

hydrophilic nature of the surface, which absorbs more water molecules as seen from the TGA
