Synthesis of heterocycles using amino-azirine building blocks 

Reaction with 4-membered cyclic sulfonamides 8 afforded 7-membered heterocycles 9 in high yield (60-90%), and reaction with 6-membered sulfonamide 10 (n=l) proceeded in 85-99% yield incorporating all atoms of both building blocks into the products. No by-products were thus formed.
