The synthesis of a number of heterobimetal complexes of the type [(RhRuCl2Cp)( u-CO)2(jU-f/ -L-L)](R/i-RM) (L-L = dppm, [dppm = bis-(diphenylphosphino)methane] Ph2PC(=CH2)-PPh2, Ph2PNHPPh2 or dppp [dppp = bis(diphenylphosphino)propane] has been carried out. These complexes are readily prepared by treatment of the chelating phosphine complexes [Pg.154]

We have also reported some of the reactions of these complexes with CO under a range of conditions of temperature and pressure. A notable reaction is the completely reversible reaction of [CpRu(//-CO)2(yu-f/L -L-L)RhCl2] with CO to give [RhCl2(CO)2] and [Ru(CO)2( 7 -L-L)Cp].  [Pg.155]
