Syntheses of Azacrowns

Okahara and coworkers have conducted considerable work on one-pot cycliza-tion reactions which result in the formation of various crowns and related species. These efforts are mentioned in Sects. 3.12 and 5.4. These techniques have been applied to the syntheses of azacrowns as well. The approach involves methodology similar to that developed by Pedersen and described above.
