In any new employee orientation, there will be of course, a discussion of wages, benefits, insurance, vacations, and work assignments for particular machines or departments. This chapter, however, will focus only on the safety orientation. 

A golden opportunity exists at the time of hire to indoctrinate the new worker with safety beliefs of the organization. The following items should be considered in any new employee safety orientation
