Subculture of cells growing in suspension

Cells growing in true suspension (i.e. not attached to microcarriers) are simply subcultured by dilution. 

Alternatively, the volume of cell suspension may be increased by adding fresh medium and increasing the size of the culture vessel as and when necessary.
