Structure well oriented form

Polycrystalline and well-oriented specimens of pure amylose have been trapped both in the A- and B-forms of starch, and their diffraction patterns84-85 are suitable for detailed structure analysis. Further, amylose can be regenerated in the presence of solvents or complexed with such molecules as alcohols, fatty acids, and iodine the molecular structures and crystalline arrangements in these materials are classified under V-amylose. When amylose complexes with alkali or such salts as KBr, the resulting structures86 are surprisingly far from those of V-amyloses. 

Monolayers and LB Films - Controllable Layered Assembly Some types of amphiphile form monolayer structures on the surface of water. These compressed monolayers can be transferred onto a sohd support in a layer-by-layer manner. This permits well-oriented multilayers to be created with defined numbers and sequences of layers. 

Similarly to fibres coloured with quinacridone at high take-up velodty above 1000 m/min, pigment does not participate in the nudeation process. In these conditions, under high molecular orientation numerous row nudei are formed. Row nudei quickly grow forming well oriented lamellar a crystals.
