Storage of matter

Each compartment is considered now as a combination of an infinitesimal resistance and an infinitesimal capacitance element for each kind of the penetrating ions. Whereas the resistance of the medium is assumed to be a joint property of the material and electric interactions of the ion with the medium, separate capacitances are introduced for the storage of matter and electric charge one material capacitance for each kind of ions i = 1,2,. .. and a common electric capacitance for the net amount of electric charge.
