The Station nightclub fire was the fourth-deadliest nightclub fire in U.S. history. It occurred in Warwick, Rhode Island, on February 20, 2003. Of the approximately 439 people inside the Station at the time of the blaze, 96 people died at the scene, and 4 more died in hospitals during the following weeks. Two hundred fifteen people were injured. The Station nightclub was a single-story wood frame building with an area of about 412 square meters (4,484 square feet).
