Staden Package

The remainder of this chapter illustrates the use of the Staden package as it is applied to sequence assembly data, hut readers should be aware that other packages include similar features. Because the examples here use a specific package, we have not gone into the details of how to perform particular tasks but instead give a flavor of the possible operations by describing some of the components of the individual programs.
