Sodium A-methyldithiocarbamate

Fungicides sodium A -methyldithiocarbamate, sodium MA -dimethyldithiocarbamate, ammonium tetramethylenedithiocarbamate, sodium, iV-diethyldithiocaibamate, and disodium ethylenebisdithiocarbamate Pond water p-Bondapak CN 0.0125 M CTAB-30% methanol in 0.018 M phosphate buffer at pH 6.8 254 nm. 3... [Pg.372]

A simple MLC procedure was described for the simultaneous determination of five dithiocarbamates (sodium iV-methyldithiocarbamate, sodium iY,iV-dimethyldithiocarbamate, ammonium tetramethylene-dithiocarbamate, sodium iY,iV-diethyl-dithiocarbamate and disodium ethylenebisdithiocarbamate) [3], which employed CIS or cyano columns and micellar solutions of CTAB-methanol buffered at pH 6.8 with 0.02 M phosphate. Pond-water samples were used to assess the potential of MLC in the analysis of environmental samples. For the analyses, pond water was filtered and passed through a CIS-bonded column to remove aromatic compounds. Resorcinol was added as an internal standard. A typical chromatogram is shown in Fig. 10.8. [Pg.379]

A high performance liquid chromatographic procedure has been described [3] for the simultaneous determination of the fimgicides sodium-N-methyldithiocarbamate and methylisothiocyanate in surface waters and in sewage, based on their separation on a reversed phase column with a miscellar mobile phase (hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide) in 1 1 v/v methanohwater buffered to pH6.8. Detection limits were 70 and Ipg dm when the analysis was performed with an ultraviolet detector at 247nm. [Pg.207]

The simplest member of the first subgroup is methyldithiocarbamic acid or metham. The sodium (8) or the ammonium salt is form, depending on whether the reaction of carbon disulfide with methylamine is carried out in a sodium hydroxide or ammonium hydroxide medium. The free acid is not stable. [Pg.346]
