The HTS method of Section 6.4.5 can reproduce to 0.1 pg/mL. Turbidity-based methods have sensitivities well above 1 pg/mL. The pH-metric method can decrease to 5 ng/mL [Avdeef, unpublished]. Reports of such a low limit of detection can be found in the literature [495].
