Sleep switch mode

Inactive timing system (when torque is not requested by the ICE, valves go to a sleep mode and do not absorb any energy and the ICE stops without really switching off)... [Pg.208]

Fig. 19.12 Event histogram from a patient implanted with a Trilogy DR+. The indication for pacing was the bradycardia-tachycardia syndrome. Over the past 42 days, the majority of the complexes were in the base rate or sleep rate bins. Rate modulation had not yet been enabled and there were relatively few native atrial rates above 75 bpm. The system functioned in a nontracking mode approximately 3% of the time (AMS bin) with 1,776 mode switch episodes. Based on this event histogram demonstrating the presence of chronotropic incompetence, rate-modulation was enabled. Fig. 19.12 Event histogram from a patient implanted with a Trilogy DR+. The manifold consists of two parts (see Fig. 10-10). In the first part the sample stream is mixed with the buffer solution and passed through the reductor. The second part is the same manifold as for the determination of nitrite. Thus, both nitrate and nitrite may be determined using the same manifold. By means of a three-way valve the reductor may be bypassed. By pumping pure water instead of sample (system wash) the reductor is filled with slightly diluted clean buffer. Switching the valve to bypass puts the reductor into sleep mode . [Pg.186]
