Skew scattering

In case of skew scattering on magnetic impurities it is found that aHccp, so that Ph is proportional to p, whereas in case of side-jump scattering an is constant, so...

The d-spin polarization is estimated to be 40% at 2 K and B = 4T for nearly stoichiometric TmSe, based on magneto-optical investigations (see p. 378) and using a skew scattering model, Reim et al. [6].
