Siphula ceralites

In addition to the known chromone siphulin (121), Shimada et al. 296) described the isolation of two new derivatives, oxysiphulin (122) and protosiphulin (123), from Siphula ceralites. The structures of these metabolites were determined by comparison of the H- and C-n.m.r. spectra with those of siphulin. Protosiphulin (123) is regarded as the biosynthetic precursor of siphulin (121).
