Single-Site Organochromium Catalysts for High Molecular Weight Polyolefins

Single-Site Organochromium Catalysts for High Molecular Weight Polyolefins [Pg.147]

Four prerequisites for a molecular chromium-based catalyst can be defined  [Pg.148]

1) A spectator ligand that is able to bind well to a chromium center  [Pg.148]

2) A chromium alkyl bond that may be formed from L CrX , (X = halogen) by addition of an alkylating agent (usually MAO)  [Pg.148]

3) A vacant coordination site, that is, coordination number lower than 6 in the [Pg.148]
