By using a series of nanoparticle standard reference materials (SRMs) and applying cumulative distribution function to this histogram, we can plot the cumulative distribution versus signal intensity (counts). The math is beyond the scope of this chapter, but by using these data, a calibration of median intensity can then be plotted [Pg.272]
