Silicon—Halogen Stretching Vibrations

3 Silicon—Halogen Stretching Vibrations Absorption caused by Si—F stretch is in the 800-1000 cm 1 region. 

Bands resulting from Si—Cl stretching occur at frequencies below 666 cm 1.
