Sheppard corrections

Grouping of experimental data at the histograms building can lead to the displacement of the calculating characteristics. The Sheppard corrections are used for the removal of this displacement [10].

There is a fairly extensive stable isotope data set available on saddle dolomite which is summarized in Figs 5-7. For the purpose of comparison in this study, 6 0 values reported relative to smow were converted to pdb using the relationship 5 OpDB = 0.970026 Os, ow -29.98 (Coplen et al., 1983).
