Separation and Use of Water-insoluble Ammonium Ligands in Hydroformylation

Separation and Use of Water-insoluble Ammonium Ligands in Hydroformylation [Pg.419]

By using water-insoluble ammonium ligands, the advantages of both catalyst systems (easy separation under mild reaction conditions and high conversion rate) can be combined while avoiding their disadvantages. Thus, hydroformylation with [Pg.419]

Reaction conditions olefinic feedstock, n-l-tetradecene pressure, 50 bar Rh concentration, 20 ppm temperature, 125 °C reaction time, 3 h solvent, acetone. [Pg.420]

T Triisooctylamine salts of p-sulfonated phosphorous acid triphenyl ester. [Pg.420]

In this case the potential functionality of the ligands is applied to induce a phase transition of ligands and Rh complexes and subsequent phase separation by a pH change after the reaction at room temperature under mild conditions. The principle is outlined in Eqs. (4) and (5)  [Pg.420]
