Self-extracting archive

Execs - This folder (directory) contains all the executables as well as the basis set library file accessed by the "integral" executa ble (BasisLib). The executables are stored as a self-extracting archive file. The executables require about 1.3 Mbytes and cannot be held once extracted on a floppy disk (therefore copy the files to a "hard drive" before extracting. ..). 

Create a self-extracting archive so that the email recipient is not required to have the archive extraction program that you used to create the archive. A self-extracting archive has an .exe extension, meaning that the file can be executed (the user can run the file). When the recipient runs the file it will extract the files in the archive. The recipient does not need to know the specifics of how the archive was created. 

You can experiment with the options if you wish. You must select the option to create an SFX file. This creates a self-extracting archive with an .exe extension. 

We can now close WinRAR. The archive file, SBCtlOP 2P.BXB, can now be emailed as an attachment. The recipient can then place the file in its own directory and run the file. It will self extract and create all of the files that were placed in the archive. The recipient should then be able to open your project with Oread Capture and run it.
