Screen printing thixotropic property

Thixotropic properties (ability to flow freely through the stencil/screen apertures during printing and recover quickly after printing). 

For optimum printing properties, the screen printing formulations should be designed to be thixotropic in nature so that the inks have significant structure at rest, but low viscosity and good fluidity under shear (when forced through the screen with the squeegee) and little flow once printed on the substrate.
