SCR Applications Past and Future

The SCR catalyst in vehicles must operate under fast transients, be effective at low temperature where most NO emissions are produced and perform adequately in a wide temperature range (from 200 up to 500 °C). 

Therefore, there is a strong motivation to develop a dynamic model of the SCR monolithic reactor suitable for extended temperature operation and to study the fast SCR reaction in view of future possible applications. In the following, we will focus on these two issues.
