Since 10 per cent carbon dioxide is formed at the opeiatii temperatures of the reforming reactors, it is easy to calculate that the effluent must contain about 3.5 to 42 per cent residual methane. According to Table 1.8, this value can only be reached at high temperature, low pressure and high steam ratio.
