Do training records indicate that all supervisors have been trained in their responsibilities to analyze work under their supervision for unrecognized hazards Do they apply practices to maintain physical protections, to reinforce employee training through performance feedback, and, where necessary, enforce safe work procedures and safety and health rules ... 

There are many advantages in using the JSA/JHA. It provides training to new employees on safety rules and specific instructions on them and how the rules are to be applied to their work. This training is provided before the new employees perform the job task(s). The JSA/JHA also instructs new employees in safe work procedures.
