Rotaxanes azo-dye

From elemental analysis, the stoichiometric ratio between Ni2+ and the rotaxanated-azo-Dye was 1 1, which shows that the Ni-Dye complex forms linear chains via the hydroxyquinolone ligands. A possible structure of the Ni2+-Dye complex is shown in Scheme 4. [Pg.157]
