Roller Formation-advection Model

A surface roller in a hydraulic jump is formed on the front face and the eddy is elliptical with the major axis parallel to the front surface. As it is released to the downstream, the eddy will become more circular in shape [279]. Mok and leong (2002) proposed that the roller generation-advection frequency can be estimated by [183]
