Rocks pegmatitic texture

The moderately fractured zones range from several metres to several tens of metres in width. The maximum thickness of an alteration zone is 50 m. The colour of the rock matrix is largely greenish grey, due to the occurrence of chlorite and montmorillonite. Some moderately fractured zones were seen in all boreholes (e.g. in boreholes DH-2, DH-3 and DH-4 at around SL -150 m). Several moderately fractured zones are associated with a pegmatitic texture. [Pg.73]

Uraninite is a common accessory mineral in the texturally homogeneous unzoned granitic pegmatite and peraluminous granite, and is present in both rock types in the Main Double S Zone. [Pg.437]

In addition to various structural and textural varieties of gramtic rocks, the Wisconsin Range Bathohth contains pegmatite and aplite dikes as well as quartz veins both within the granitic rocks and in the... [Pg.208]
