The transmission of data is more and more often done through the usage of wireless communication system. The integration of a Bluetooth or RFID chip can allow to stock data and access them remotely. 

Nanowaste generation should be assessed. Besides needing an inventory of all nanomaterial waste that is shipped off-site, it should include the description, quantity, location and final disposal of all nanowastes. Products used on a daily basis should be tagged with RFID chips to facilitate the waste processing. 

The antenna is structured and the RFID chip is placed directly on the housing of the RFID tag (Fig. 9.8). This dispenses with the need for a separate printed-circuit board. The material is TCP, capable of meeting the high requirements for temperature exposure common to industrial applications.
