Reversible addition-fragmentation transfer Room temperature

Reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer polymerisation Arginine-glycine-aspartic acid Room temperature... [Pg.87]

Photo-induced polymerization of hydroxypropyl-P-CD/methyl methacrylate complex, i.e. HP-P-CD/MMA was performed in aqueous solution, at room temperature with Irgacure 2959, i.e. 4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)phenyl-(2-hydroxy-2-propyl)ketone serving as a photoinitiator [75]. The atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) [76] methods are also used to perform polymerization of the CD/guest monomer complexes in aqueous solutions. [Pg.837]

In a recent study, Tasdelen et al. synthesized a phenacyl morpholine-4-dithiocarbamate, which can act as both a photoiniferter and reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) agent. Polymerization of styrene was carried out in bulk under UV irradiation at above 300 nm at room temperature. The polymerization showed living characteristics up to 50% conversions and produced well-defined polymers with molecular weights close to those predicted from theory and relatively narrow poyldispersities (Mw/Mn 1.30). End group determination and block copolymerization... [Pg.101]
