Repoling a depoled piezo

Attach a dc power supply into the convention chosen. For piezo tubes, the common convention is that the outer electrode is positive. 

Apply a voltage according to the thickness of the piezoelectric element. A rule of thumb is 10 volts per 25 micrometers. 

Hold the voltage (at room temperature) for more than 8 hours. 

Detach the power supply and check the piezoelectric constant.
